Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary cancer care of the highest quality delivered in a safe, compassionate, easily accessible manner is available today at the Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care. The vast majority of cancer patients in the United States are diagnosed and treated at health centers within their local community. Patients do not need to travel long distances to receive state-of-the-art cancer care.
Our services encompass the full spectrum of cancer care and include community outreach, screening and prevention, diagnostic services, surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation therapy, interventional oncology, clinical trials, dedicated inpatient and outpatient cancer units, palliative care, pain management, integrative oncology, support services, patient and provider education, and survivorship. We are now in the second year of our three year full accreditation with commendation from the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer. We offer healing environments for our cancer patients and are dedicated to taking care of the whole person; body, mind and spirit. Our goal is to integrate the best complimentary therapies with conventional treatments using a multidisciplinary approach.
