Lung Cancer Screening with Low Dose CT Scans

Low Dose CT screening for lung cancer, overseen by our multidisciplinary thoracic team, was developed in response to clinical recommendations from the National Lung Screening Trial that found screening with annual low-dose CT scans reduced the risk of dying from lung cancer by 20 percent compared to patients who were screened with chest X-rays. Our navigator works with every patient who comes in for a screening to guide them through the entire process and ensure they receive comprehensive care.
