Most cancer-related pain can be managed through a well thought-out prevention and treatment plan. In the majority of cancer cases, pain can be controlled. Our approach to cancer treatment includes development of a pain management plan, with our fellowship-trained cancer pain specialists. As the cancer experience differs in each patient, each patient is also unique in their response to pain and medications. Massage, medications, acupuncture, exercise aquatics, and even yoga all contribute to pain management.
