Dr Berard gives you his full attention which is rare today. He is usually on time. There was a long delay last visit because only one person was drawing blood but that was unusual.

I am being treated for Dysplasia which is the first of four steps to having cancer. I have known Dr. Berard and infusion staff. They are caring, intelligent women in the infusion center that they know all their patients and names and we are treated as family. It all stems from from the guidance of Dr. Berard. He is soft spoken, but will cut right to the chase good or bad and if it is negative he has a plan for a chance to beat the negative. He earn my respect, when I so negative about the Chemotherapy. If you need to go through chemo he is the Doctor I recommend and he will be honest, "you are going to get sicker before you get better" and I certainly did, it took a month after I stop all my scheduled treatments. I finally felt better and I used that a spring board to to get stronger, everyday I went to gym it is hard but hey I am better thanks to my Doctor, Dr. Berard St. Vincent's Hospital part of the Hartford Healthcare Network.
