- Our patients, visitors, and staff are kept safe 24-hours a day, seven-days per week at the Medical Center, at all off-site locations, and at all parking facilities.
- Our security personnel’s backgrounds include experience in law enforcement, firefighting, and corrections. Our staff includes criminal justice program graduates and current students, former and active military personnel, and those trained in campus security and Emergency Medical Services.
- All our security personnel are licensed by the State of Connecticut.
Vehicle Escort/Location Services
We will escort you safely to your vehicle upon request. Should you forget the location of your vehicle, we will help you to locate it. Please call us to arrange for these services.
Securing Valuables
When planning a visit to the Medical Center, please leave any valuables at home. St. Vincent's is not responsible for any valuables, such as cash, credit cards or jewelry, electronic devices, or other valuables. If you must keep your valuables at St. Vincent's, please contact security and request to have your valuables secured. All in-patient rooms are equipped with safes. Please store your valuables in these in-patient safes upon admission.
