Dr. Selter received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed an internship and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and was the recipient of the Frederick Sachs Award for outstanding resident. Dr. Selter stayed on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Yale. Dr. Selter is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He has clinical expertise in all areas of general cardiology as well as coronary and peripheral arterial interventions.
Dr. Selter has a special interest in renal failure as it relates to heart disease as well as complex coronary interventions such as chronic total occlusion. He has participated in various research activities related to performance improvement, particularly with under-represented groups of patients. Dr. Selter is a member of our Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the past recipient of our St. Vincent de Paul Award recognizing a physician who goes above and beyond while exhibiting our Core Values. Dr. Selter is a member of Cardiology Physicians of Fairfield County.
