Meet Our PGY-1 Community Resident

Jonathan Blais, Pharm.D.

HHC email: Jonathan.Blais@hhchealth.org

Pharmacy School: University of Connecticut

Professional Interest: Academia and Ambulatory Care

What attracted you to SVMC? The group in the outpatient pharmacy drew me towards working at SVMC the most! The program also offers more opportunities compared to other community residency programs in the region and I knew I could achieve my goals through this program. It is also very beneficial to be part of Hartford Healthcare as I have had the opportunity to complete rotations at other hospitals where they may not be available at our hospital here.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy playing sand volleyball on Friday nights and I am trying to get into more sports that I have never tried before such as disc golf. I also enjoy watching most sports and playing video games in my free time.
